Balıkesir University Faculty of Science-Edebiyat Faculty of Chemistry Prof. Dr. Feyzullah Tokay prepared in the executioner, "The Prevention of Rare Earth Elements" using New Magnetic SorbentsResearch project, conducted by TÜBİTAK 1001 – Scientific and Technological Research ProgramsHe deserved support within the scope. The only TUBITAK 1001 project that deserves support from Balıkesir University under 2026 call Tags will contribute to the research capacity and scientific productivity of our university.
As a researcher in the project for 36 months Prof. Dr. Sema Bond Tags will serve. Synthesis of new generation magnetic sorbents modified with functional groups, It is aimed to improve availability in selective leadership of characterization and rare earth elements.
Review of materials synthesized in the research process with advanced characterization techniques such as FTIR, SEM, TEM, VSM, BET and XRD, the leadership of rare earth elements using magnetic solid phase extraction (MSPE) method Evaluation of performance with ICP-OES/ICP-MS analysis is planned. Development of new analysis approaches available in environmental, geological and industrial examples of results to be achieved important contributions are expected.
